Introducing Doctor Lou!

Saturday, August 30, 2008

I'm still upset that ESPN isn't bringing back the Lou Holtz Pep Talk, but this is a good enough replacement. I give you Dr. Lou! The doctor will see you now!!!

I really have no words. Lou Holtz is just a sideshow for the "Leader" now, but as long as he's having fun with it....who cares right? And everyone remember....

"You should have four things in life. Something to do, someone to love, something to hope for and something to believe in."- Lou Holtz

Anything involving Lou Holtz should not be encouraged.

I still think one of the greatest segments in ESPN history was when Lou Holtz gave the Notre Dame pep talk vs USC last year.

Worst. Advice. Ever.

Isn't something to hope for the same as having something to believe in?

Hahaha....DO NOT QUESTION LOU, Eric!

he's on his...what? fifth stroke?

Well, I see that Lloyd Carr is in midseason form....

Off-topic, but as a Michigan fan, I'm surprisingly taking this loss pretty well. I'm usually sick to my stomach after every loss, but my expectations are scaled back a bit.

Dude...me too Eric. I don't really understand it to be honest with you. Last year I wanted to off myself, but after seeing that offense in the first half...I just started shaking my head.

Brent M. is going to "Rock your world!"

Who's ready for a 9-6 Alabama-Clemson game? I'm debating whether to put the Chronicles back up at the top, but if everyone wants to chat here we can.

So according to this old (wo)man, playing Youngstown St at home is a more difficult game that traveling to a D-1 school in Virginia. I just don't get why he still has a job.

If I watch CFF tonight and he starts going off on the players celebrating and how they should be penalized for basically nothing, I am going to blow my TV up.

I try to not like Lou Holtz but it's just hard. Everything that comes out of his mouth...at least the parts I can understand...are just downright hilarious. I mean, I've learned not to take anything he says seriously, and, while I will certainly miss Lou's "pep talks", this segment looks like it's gonna be a good laugh for all of us.

If Lou was a doctor all along than I guess Jason Peter's beef has even more credence.

I hated Lou as a coach and love him now as an on-air personality. The pep talk segments last year were great.
